Opportunity to serve the citizens of Valley City. The Sanitation Specialist I is responsible for operating a garbage truck, collecting garbage, performing minor truck maintenance, and otherwise assisting with the operations of the Public Works Department, including groundskeeping and snow removal.
Full-time. Hours may vary. Regular hours include 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, M-F, plus occasional Saturdays.
Salary DOE, starting at $16.36/hr. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid sick and annual leave.
Required: high school diploma or GED; valid drivers license; pre-employment drug/alcohol testing and background check. Must acquire Class B CDL within six months of hire.
